Mailchimp
This article gathers how Mailchimp works with JourneyCARE: sending contact data to Mailchimp, bringing campaign data back, and how Mailchimp fits alongside JourneyCARE's own email marketing.
Connection and outbound data
Contact data from JourneyCARE can be automatically sent to Mailchimp via:
a third-party premium action in workflows (see What is the Cost of Premium Actions?)
an integration partner like Zapier or Make (see Connect Zapier)
private integrations through API (see private integrations)
Mailchimp integration is not included in a standard migration and would require a custom development quote.
Campaign data flowing back
Returning data from Mailchimp to JourneyCARE would be dependent on what is available through the Mailchimp API.
Mailchimp integration is not included in a standard migration and would require a custom development quote.
Alongside JourneyCARE email marketing
JourneyCARE includes its own email marketing tools at Marketing > Emails, covering building, sending, testing, scheduling, and reporting. Recipients can be built from Tags, Contacts, Smart Lists, and Segments, Smart Lists are evaluated at send time, and bounces or unsubscribes automatically mark a contact Email DND. The details are in Email overview.
