[NEW-BETA] Stop ticket purchases after an event ends
Stop ticket sales after an event by setting each ticket type's Sale period end date so nothing can be purchased once the event is over. The beta has no Unpublish option for the event landing page, so the sale period is how you prevent new registrations after the event concludes.
When a ticket's sale period has ended, the event page still shows but displays no tickets available, so visitors cannot register even if they reach the landing page.
Set the ticket sale period
Go to Portal and Groups → Events and open the event.
Open the Tickets tab.
For each ticket type, set the Sale period end date and time to when you want sales to stop, such as the event's end.
Save your changes.
The sale period controls when a ticket can be purchased, and its times use the event timezone. Setting the end date after the event does not change the event's Published status or remove existing registrations; it only stops new purchases.
See Create and manage ticketed and RSVP events for the full event setup, including how to configure ticket types and sale periods.
