Internal Comment action in workflows

Workflows can now post internal comments to conversations automatically. The new Internal Comment action adds a team-only note to the conversation history when a workflow runs, so you can share context, follow-up instructions, and next steps without sending anything to the member.

You can @mention team members directly in the comment to notify them. For example, when a high-priority lead enters a workflow, the action can add an internal comment that mentions the assigned team member with the next steps. Community posting via the Social Planner Public API

You can now schedule and publish Community posts through the Social Planner Public API, including choosing which Community member the post is published as. Marketplace apps and custom integrations can bring Community publishing into their own workflows, and Community posting moves closer to API parity with other social channels.

What's new

  • List Community members: retrieve eligible members who can publish posts, search members by name, and paginate through the list. Only active, permitted members are returned, and private Communities return only members of that specific group.

  • Validate member eligibility: before scheduling a post, check whether a selected member is still active and authorized to publish in the Community.

  • Publish as a specific member: when creating a Community post through the API, specify which eligible member the post should be published as.

  • Publish-time verification: Social Planner performs a final eligibility check before publishing. If the selected member has left the Community or lost permission, the post fails with a clear error instead of publishing under the wrong identity.

How it works

  1. Connect a Community group in Marketing → Social Planner → Settings → Social Accounts.

  2. Use Get Accounts to retrieve the Community account ID.

  3. Use Get Community Members to retrieve eligible members.

  4. Select the member you want to publish as.

  5. Create the post using the Community post API, and optionally validate the member before scheduling.

  6. Social Planner verifies the member again before publishing.

Good to know

  • Connecting and managing Community accounts stays available in the app, so no UI changes are needed to use the feature.

  • The Public API supports member listing, member validation, scheduling, and publishing.

  • Draft posts don't require a publish-as member selection.

  • Member eligibility is checked when posts are scheduled and again when they are published, so the selected member must remain active and permitted in the Community at publish time.

  • API access requires the appropriate Social Planner scopes.

Delete options from Dropdown, Multi-select, Radio, and Checkbox fields in Custom Objects and Companies

You can now delete options from Dropdown, Multi-select, Radio, and Checkbox fields for Custom Objects and Companies, bringing the same capability already available for Contact and Opportunity fields.

If an option is already in use, existing records keep the value while the option is removed from future selection. Before deleting, you can see how many records use the option, and existing filters, Smart Lists, and workflows continue to work.

How to delete an option

  1. Go to Settings > Custom Fields.

  2. Open a Custom Object or Company field.

  3. Delete the option.

  4. Review the affected-record count, if shown.

  5. Confirm the deletion.

Used options remain visible on existing records, and deleted options can no longer be selected for new records, filters, or workflow conditions. This lets you clean up outdated or incorrect field options without breaking historical data or existing automation.

Granular unsubscribe controls for Community emails

Members who click Unsubscribe in a Communities email now opt out of only that community and notification type, such as a comment mention or a new post with @everyone. Emails from other communities and the rest of the platform keep arriving as normal.

Previously, this unsubscribe action could opt the member out of all platform email communication, so they could miss relevant updates from other communities and other parts of the platform.

How it works

  1. The member clicks Unsubscribe in a community email.

  2. A confirmation page shows the community name and the specific notification type being turned off.

  3. The member confirms the scoped unsubscribe preference.

  4. Future emails matching that community and notification type stop, while all other community and platform emails continue.

If a member clicks an unsubscribe link that has already been used or has expired, they see a message confirming that no settings were changed. A disabled notification can be re-enabled at any time from the member's notification settings.

Unsubscribe preferences are scoped per community and per notification type, so a single unsubscribe action no longer silences an entire platform and members keep the updates they still want.

AI-Powered Custom Invoice Layouts

Invoices are no longer tied to one fixed template. The new AI-Powered Layout Builder, available under Payments > Invoices & Estimates > Layouts, generates an invoice layout from a description of what you want, or recreates a layout you already use from an upload or description. You can then fine-tune any element in a visual builder before publishing.

Every AI change saves a restore point, so you can return to an earlier version at any time. All of your layouts live in one list with previews, version history, search, and rename or clone options. Pick a published layout when creating an invoice, and your customer sees that design on the invoice preview; the layout locks once the invoice is sent or partially paid.

Turn the feature on from Settings > Labs > Sub-Account by activating AI-Powered Custom Invoice Layouts. See Design custom invoice layouts with AI.

Configure and filter general widgets on dashboards

General widgets on a dashboard are now editable. In edit mode, hover a general widget and select Edit from its three-dot menu to rename it in the Configure tab, set a date range override under Advanced Settings, and apply a visual theme in the Themes tab. It is the same editing menu used for custom widgets (see Customize a dashboard widget), and filters you add in the Conditions tab persist every time the dashboard opens.

Conditions permanently filter a widget on fields such as assigned user, tags, source, lead value, custom fields, and attribution, with the available fields varying by widget type and the module it belongs to. Setting the assigned user to the logged-in user means every team member sees only their own numbers on the dashboard. The widget face now shows the date property and date range it calculates on, and comparison mode can display the current period against last year or the previous period directly on the widget.

Two things to keep in mind: Pipeline is available as a runtime filter on the widget face and is not part of Conditions, and general widgets do not currently respond to dashboard-level Quick Filters (see Use quick filters on dashboards).

More secure access to conversation attachments

Conversation attachments are moving to a permission-based access model to strengthen data protection. Attachment links will move to a new, more secure format, and applications accessing or displaying attachments outside of JourneyCARE will need an additional file access permission and authenticated access. The first phase covers email conversation attachments, with other conversation channels and file-based custom fields planned for future phases.

For most users there is no change to the existing experience. The change primarily affects developers of applications that access or display email conversation attachments outside of JourneyCARE: those applications need the new file access permission, and existing users must reauthorize the application. Existing attachment links continue to work only until Nov 30, 2026, after which the new access controls take effect. Applications that do not access conversation attachments do not need to take any action.

Course filtering on the Learning page

Members can now filter and sort courses directly from the Learning page in Communities. Filters narrow courses by Topic, Difficulty, and Language, using the values assigned from the course's Settings, and multiple filters can be combined. The course list can be sorted by Title (A–Z / Z–A), Newest, or Oldest. Course filtering is available on the mobile app as well, with filter chips at the top of the Learning tab.

Content moderation in Communities

Posts and comments that match flagged keywords are now held for review before they go live. Set flagged words, phrases, or domains under Settings → Content Moderation, load a starter pack of common spam and scam phrases in one click, and test your rules against sample text before anything goes live.

Flagged content lands in the Needs review tab, where admins can see which keyword triggered the flag and approve or remove it in one click. Authors see their own pending post with an "In review" status, admins are notified by email, in-app, and push alerts the moment something is flagged, and admin or owner content is never held for review. Member-reported posts and comments now surface in their own Reported by members tab.

Post and comment search was also improved: search now handles typos, different phrasing, synonyms, and non-English or accented text, and results rank by relevance instead of newest-first. AI-powered spam detection is coming soon on this same foundation.

Configure manual taxes by region with Tax Zones

You can now create Tax Zones under Payments > Settings > Taxes > Manual Taxes to apply your manual tax rates by country or state. Each zone groups the regions you sell in and up to 10 of your existing tax rates, a rate applies at checkout only when it is attached to both the product and the customer's zone, and automatic taxes still take priority wherever they are available. Tax settings are now organized into dedicated areas for display settings, Automatic Taxes, and Manual Taxes. See Set up manual tax zones by region for the full setup.

Notification diagnosis in the mobile app

Not getting notifications on your phone? The JourneyCARE mobile app (version 4.25.0 or higher) now has a one-tap diagnosis under Settings > Diagnose Notifications. Tap Start Diagnosis and the app runs four checks in under a minute: Network, Notifications, Sound, and Test delivery. A real test notification is sent to your phone so you can confirm delivery, and every failed check points at the fix, whether that is your Wi-Fi, your notification permission, or your ringer and Focus mode.

If a check fails, fix it and tap Run diagnosis again. If everything passes and the test still doesn't arrive, tap Copy report and send the results to support. See Diagnose notification problems in the mobile app for the full steps.

Chat Widget color picker adapts to browser support

The Chat Widget color picker now shows only the color-selection options your browser supports. In Safari and Firefox, the eyedropper option is hidden because those browsers do not support the native eyedropper API; previously it could appear usable but fail when clicked. In Chrome, nothing changes and the eyedropper remains available. The color spectrum, hue controls, and hex input stay available across supported browsers, so you can still configure any custom color. No widget configuration or code changes are required, and existing widget configurations and previously saved colors are unaffected. This update is live for everyone.
