Find and share the correct event registration link
Every event gets its registration link from a different place: publish the event to get a public URL for Events beta events, or link your website calendar to the page that holds your registration form for the legacy form-based flow. Test the link yourself before you share it, because a link copied from a previous event sends registrants to the wrong event.
Sharing or copying a link from a previous event sends registrants to the old event. Open every link yourself before you share it and confirm the event name and details match the event you are promoting.
Get the link for an Events beta event
Publishing creates the public URL, so you cannot share a link before you publish. For full setup steps, see Create and manage ticketed and RSVP events.
Go to Portal and Groups → Events and open your event.
Click Publish event in the top-right corner once setup is complete. Publishing creates a public URL attendees can visit to register.
Use the event's three-dot menu to share the event link.
The public event page is customized under Public pages. The Checkout sub-tab controls the registration fields attendees fill in, so check it when you review the link.
Share a legacy form-based event
Legacy events are promoted from your website calendar: the calendar event's Promotion Button sends visitors to the page where people register or buy tickets.
Add the event to your website calendar with the Tockify app. In the Premium Site Editor you find it under My Apps; you can also open it from Apps → Tockify → Open. The full steps are in Add an event to the calendar.
In the event's Promotion Button setting, link to the page that holds your registration form.
If the registration page already carries the full event details, check Skip details page completely so the calendar item sends visitors straight to registration.
Share the link to the registration page itself, or link people to the calendar event on your website.
Test the link before you share it
Open the link in a private or incognito browser window so your saved login session does not mask what visitors actually see. Then check it against the flow your event uses.
Events beta: confirm the page shows the correct event name, date, ticket types, prices, and checkout fields. With Live mode off in the event's Settings tab, the event runs in test mode and no real payments are processed, so you can complete a test registration safely. Turn Live mode on before you promote the event.
Legacy form-based events: open the form's Preview, submit a complete test registration, and verify the product, pricing, success message or redirect, confirmation email, notifications, and automations. Payment forms have Test Mode and Live Mode; in Test Mode use Stripe test cards, and test payments do not charge live cards or appear in live reporting. See Testing Payment Forms for the full testing steps.
Avoid sharing an outdated link
The most common link problem is promoting an old event: a link saved from a previous event, or copied from the original when an event or form was duplicated, sends registrants to the wrong registration page.
Before you share, open the link yourself and confirm the event name and details on the page match the event you are promoting.
If you duplicated an event or form for a new event, share the new event's own link, not the link from the original.
