Sync Threads posts in Social Planner
Threads Post Sync (Beta) automatically imports your existing Threads posts into Social Planner, so historical content and engagement data appear alongside your scheduled posts. Enable it from Social Planner settings, allow the initial sync to run, then clone supported posts into new ones.
Enable Threads Post Sync
Turn on Threads Post Sync from Social Planner settings after connecting a public Threads account. To connect an account first, follow Set up Social Planner and connect social accounts.
Open Marketing > Social Planner, then open Settings.
Enable Threads Post Sync from Labs.
Allow the initial sync to complete.
View the synced Threads posts in Social Planner.
Clone a supported post when you want to reuse it as a new post.
You can track sync progress, and notifications appear if the account needs to be reconnected.
What Threads Post Sync imports
Threads Post Sync imports your published Threads posts and their engagement data. It supports Text posts, Images, Videos, Carousels, GIFs, and Polls.
Content: your existing Threads posts, including their Caption text and media and thumbnail previews.
Engagement data: Views, Likes, Replies, Reposts, Quotes, and Shares.
Location tags: retained on synced posts.
Text, image, video, carousel, and GIF posts can be cloned into new posts from Social Planner. Polls can be viewed but not cloned.
Understand sync limitations
Sync is one-way, from Threads into Social Planner.
Posts from the last 30 days sync by default. Older posts up to 365 days may be imported when needed.
Sync runs every 24 hours and is not real-time.
Polls display the message Poll content is not supported in preview and cannot be cloned.
Deleted Threads posts remain visible in Social Planner because sync is one-way.
Text file attachments are not supported for sync or preview.
Some engagement data may be limited by Threads API capabilities.
