Sync Instagram posts in Social Planner
Enable Instagram Post Sync in Settings > Labs, then turn it on while connecting Instagram or from the connected account's Social Planner settings to bring recent posts and performance data into JourneyCARE.
Before you enable Instagram Post Sync
Instagram Post Sync is a Beta feature that must be enabled for your sub-account before either setup path is available.
Open Settings > Labs.
Search for Instagram Post Sync.
Enable the feature for the sub-account.
Use an Instagram Professional account connected through Facebook Login or Instagram Login. If you need to connect an account first, follow Set up Social Planner and connect social accounts.
Enable sync while connecting Instagram
Turn on automatic post syncing during connection when the Instagram account is not yet connected to Social Planner.
Open Marketing > Social Planner.
Choose + Socials.
In the Connect Socials popup, enable Sync Posts Automatically.
Choose Connect for Instagram and finish linking the account.
Enable sync for a connected Instagram account
Turn on post syncing from Social Planner settings when Instagram is already connected.
Open Marketing > Social Planner.
Open Settings.
Go to Social Accounts > Instagram.
Enable Sync Posts for the Instagram page you want to sync.
Open Planner to review the synced posts.
Open Statistics to review the synced performance data.
If Social Planner shows a disconnect or expired-access message, follow the reconnect prompt to resume syncing.
What Instagram Post Sync imports
Instagram Post Sync imports posts from the last 30 days into Social Planner.
Supported content: images, videos, carousels, and reels.
Post location: synced posts appear in the Social Planner calendar.
Performance data: insights are not real-time and refresh every 24 hours.
Understand sync limitations
Sync from Instagram to Social Planner is one-way.
Deleted Instagram posts remain visible in Social Planner.
Location tags, collaborator details, and mentions may be unavailable because of Instagram API limitations.
