Create Pinterest Pins in Social Planner
Connect a Pinterest business account, create a Pin in Social Planner, and choose whether to save, publish, schedule, repeat, or send it for approval.
Prepare your Pinterest media
Use one image or one video for each Pin, and make sure the file meets Pinterest's supported requirements before you create the post.
Image: PNG or JPG, 10 MB or less.
Video: MOV, MP4, or WEBP, 1 GB or less, with a duration from 4 seconds to 5 minutes.
Recommended aspect ratios: 9:16, 1:2, 2:3, 3:4, 4:5, or 1:1.
Video encoding: H.264 or H.265.
Connect Pinterest
Connect Pinterest before creating a Pin so you can select the account's boards.
In JourneyCARE, go to Marketing > Social Planner.
Open + Socials and select Connect Pinterest.
Log in to Pinterest with an account that is an admin of the Pinterest business account.
Create and publish a Pin
Use the new-post composer to add the Pin's content, destination, and board before choosing what happens next.
From Social Planner, select + New Post.
In Post to, select the connected Pinterest account.
Add the post description or content, then upload one supported image or video.
Add a Title and Link.
Select one or more Pinterest boards. You can select up to 25 boards for one post. Private boards display a lock icon. To create a board during post creation, use Add board in the board dropdown.
Choose one publishing option: Save for later, Post now, Schedule post, Recurring post, or Send for approval.
Board selection is required. A Pin needs at least one Pinterest board and one image or video before you can post it, schedule it, save it, or send it for approval.
Understand multi-board publishing
Select multiple boards when the same content should be published to more than one Pinterest destination.
Each selected board creates its own published Pin. The boards are handled independently, so a failure on one board does not block the other selected boards from publishing.
Resolve common Pinterest setup issues
Check the connected business account, admin access, and board location when a board is missing from the board selector.
Confirm that the connected Pinterest account is the business account that contains the board.
Confirm that you have admin access to that account.
Confirm that the board exists in the connected Pinterest account.
If a Pin does not meet the media requirements, adjust the file's type, size, duration, aspect ratio, or video encoding before posting or scheduling it.
