Sync LinkedIn and TikTok posts in Social Planner

Post Sync imports your published LinkedIn and TikTok posts into Social Planner, so historical content and engagement metrics appear alongside your scheduled posts. It is a Beta feature you enable from Social Planner settings.

Enable Post Sync

Turn on Post Sync from Social Planner settings after connecting a supported account.

  1. Open Marketing > Social Planner, then open Settings.

  2. Connect your LinkedIn Page or TikTok account. To connect an account first, follow Set up Social Planner and connect social accounts.

  3. Enable Post Sync.

  4. Allow the initial sync to complete.

  5. Review the synced posts and performance metrics inside Social Planner.

What LinkedIn Post Sync imports

LinkedIn Post Sync imports your published LinkedIn posts and their engagement data. It supports LinkedIn Organization Pages only; personal profiles are not supported.

  • Content: published LinkedIn posts, including historical posts, alongside your scheduled content.

  • Metrics: reactions, comments, and shares, refreshed every 24 hours.

  • Previews: PDF, Event, Poll, and Article posts sync, but do not display in-app previews.

What TikTok Post Sync imports

TikTok Post Sync imports your published TikTok videos and their engagement data. It supports TikTok Personal and Business accounts.

  • Content: published TikTok videos, including historical posts, played using TikTok's hosted player.

  • Metrics: likes, comments, shares, and views, with an automatic daily insight refresh every 24 hours.

Understand sync limitations

Sync is one-way, from LinkedIn or TikTok into Social Planner.

  • Deleted LinkedIn posts remain visible in Social Planner.

  • Deleted TikTok posts remain visible in Social Planner.

  • LinkedIn: mentions, hashtag highlighting, and tagged-user details are not available because of LinkedIn API limitations.

  • TikTok: synced videos cannot be cloned into new posts, and raw video files cannot be downloaded because of TikTok API restrictions.

  • TikTok: location tags, tagged users, and music details are not available through the TikTok API.
