Post a Facebook Reel from Social Planner
Post or schedule a Facebook Reel from Marketing > Social Planner after connecting Facebook and selecting a Facebook Page.
Before you start
Connect Facebook before creating the Reel and grant the requested permissions during the connection flow.
If you need to connect Facebook, open Settings > Integrations and complete the Facebook connection. You can also follow Set up Social Planner and connect social accounts for the account-connection workflow.
Prepare one video attachment that meets the Facebook Reel requirements:
Maximum file size: 1 GB
Duration: 3–90 seconds
Supported formats: .MP4, .MOV, and .webm
Recommended dimensions: 1080x1920
Minimum dimensions: 540x960
Aspect ratio: 9:16
Facebook Reels do not support thumbnails.
Create and schedule a Facebook Reel
Use the Social Planner post composer to add one video and schedule it as a Reel.
Open Marketing > Social Planner.
Select Create New Post.
Select a connected Facebook Page as the destination.
Open the Reels tab.
Add a caption and one video attachment that meets the Reel specifications.
Schedule the Reel.
Facebook Page and Group behavior
Facebook Reels are available for Facebook Pages. If you select a Facebook Group, the content is shared as a feed post instead of a Reel.
