Grant course access with workflows
Automate course enrollment by building a workflow that grants the course or membership product you choose when a trigger fires, then test and publish it. The workflow uses the Course Grant Offer action and is built in Automations > Workflows.
Build the workflow
Create the workflow from Automations > Workflows, choose how you want to build it, then pick the trigger that should open access.
Go to Automations > Workflows and click + Create Workflow.
Create the workflow from scratch, from a template, or with AI.
Select a trigger such as Form submitted or Payment completed, then use filters to choose the specific forms or payment sources that should open access.
Add the Course Grant Offer action and select the course or membership product to grant.
You can create separate workflows for different membership courses.
Workflow triggers lists the course triggers you can start from.
Workflow actions covers the action catalog, including Course Grant Offer and Course Revoke Offer.
Test and publish
Run a test before publishing so you can confirm access is granted correctly and any additional actions fire.
Run a test of the workflow.
Verify that membership access is granted correctly and that additional actions, such as emails, trigger.
Toggle the workflow to Publish.
Click Save.
Welcome Email: use one method
If a workflow also sends a Welcome Email, the default Welcome Email option in Membership Settings is disabled automatically, and no Welcome Email is sent unless the workflow explicitly includes an email step. Use only one method: enable the Welcome Email in Membership Settings, or add an email step in the workflow — never both.
