Build a course
Use the Course feature for a single webinar, a multi-session certification program, or member resources that are not structured like a traditional course. Access is granted through an Offer and two workflows.
Create the course product
Every course starts as a Product. Clone an existing course when you want to reuse its structure instead of building from scratch.
Create a new Product for the course, or clone an existing course product.
Add categories and lessons
Courses are organized as categories and lessons under Product Structure.
Click the + next to Product Structure to add a category.
Click the + next to a category title to add a lesson in that category.
Toggle each category and lesson to Published so course participants can see them.
Create an offer for access
People get access to a course when you grant them the associated Offer. An Offer can include one product or multiple products.
Create offers under Portal and Groups > Courses > Offers. You can switch an offer between Draft and Published directly from the offers list.
When the course is ready, click + Create Offer at the top right.
Choose the course product or products from the dropdown.
Leave Type set to free if you collect payment through a payment form or e-commerce, or if the course is included with a membership level.
Toggle the Offer to Published. Unpublished offers do not appear as available elsewhere in JourneyCARE.
Set up the two required workflows
Course access needs two workflows: one that grants the Offer, and one that emails login credentials on new signup. For how workflows fit together, see Workflows Overview.
Workflow 1: Grant the offer
Trigger this workflow from the event that should open course access, then grant the Offer.
Create a workflow triggered by the event you want to use (for example buying a product, submitting a form, or applying a tag).
Add the Grant Offer action and select the Offer people should receive.
Workflow 2: Send credentials on new signup
This workflow must use the New Signup trigger and send login credentials by email.
Create a second workflow with the New Signup trigger.
Add only an email action that sends the credentials.
