Connect Square for payment processing
Connect Square from Payments > Integrations with your Square API keys, then use the connected processor for supported one-time and subscription payments.
Connect Square in JourneyCARE
Use the Square integration when your organization wants to process payments through a Square account in a JourneyCARE sub-account.
In the JourneyCARE sub-account, open Payments > Integrations.
Choose Square and connect it with your Square API keys.
Choose the Square physical location to associate with the sub-account. A physical location is selected by default after the connection succeeds, and you can change that selection.
Connect Square in Sandbox/Test Mode
Use Square Sandbox/Test Mode when you need to connect the sandbox account that is currently signed in.
Sign in to Square.
From the Square dashboard, open the sandbox Square account and remain signed in as a Square sandbox user.
In JourneyCARE, open Payments > Integrations and click Connect for Square Test Mode.
JourneyCARE automatically selects the sandbox account that is signed in to Square for the test-mode connection.
Use Square for supported payments
Configure products under Payments > Products to process one-time and subscription payments with Square.
Square supports the product areas named by the source, including order forms, invoices, online stores, forms, memberships, payment links, and more. As of January 22, 2025, Square was not available for SaaS and re-billing.
Choose or update a Square physical location
Choose the Square physical location that should be associated with the JourneyCARE sub-account from the locations shown on the integrations page.
For a new connection, open the Square integration under Payments > Integrations and review the physical locations available in your Square account.
Select the Square location to associate with the sub-account. JourneyCARE selects a physical location by default after the connection succeeds, and you can change it.
For an existing Square connection, click Reconnect to fetch the Square locations.
Select the right Square location for the sub-account from the locations shown on the integrations page.
Track Square payments
Track payments made through Square under Payments > Orders and Payments > Transactions.
Existing trigger functionalities are also available with the Square integration.
