Overview of AI Studio

AI Studio is a conversational, AI-powered builder that turns prompts into working websites, landing pages, and interactive experiences such as booking flows, multi-step surveys, and branded forms. It is a premium feature that may require a JourneyCARE subscription upgrade to activate.

AI Studio and Agent Studio

AI Studio and Agent Studio are two separate AI tools built for different jobs. AI Studio is a conversational builder that creates websites, pages, and other web assets from prompts. Agent Studio is a visual builder for AI-powered agents that respond to events, interact with users, and automate tasks.

What AI Studio can build

AI Studio is not limited to standard websites and landing pages. From a prompt, it generates layouts, content, images, and multi-page experiences, and applies a consistent look across the project.

• A website with content, visuals, and calls to action already in place

• Interactive experiences such as multi-step surveys, custom calendar booking flows, and branded forms

If you do not provide images, AI Studio can generate visuals for hero sections and supporting areas. If you upload images and clearly ask AI Studio to use them, it places those visuals into the page.

The AI Studio home screen

The home screen is where you start new projects, reopen past work, and manage everything you have built. When you open AI Studio you see a description box where you type what you want to build, tabs such as Recently Viewed, My Projects, Starred, and Templates, and a left sidebar with project access and recent work.

From the home area you can start a new project, open an existing project, rename a project, move a project to a folder, or delete a project.

Create a project

Start with a prompt

Type a prompt describing what you want to build. The more detail you provide, the better AI Studio can shape the first version. Alongside your prompt you can add supporting inputs such as files, images, or a live URL for structure, layout, or style inspiration.

• Build a portfolio site for a freelance designer using the attached brand images

• Create a boutique skincare website using the attached homepage screenshot as visual direction for the hero section, spacing, and typography

Guided design preferences

You do not need a perfect prompt to get started. When a request is broad or missing design details, AI Studio asks follow-up questions before building so the first draft matches your goal, brand, and preferred look. Questions can cover the color palette, typography style, layout direction, and the main conversion goal, and can include simple choices, visual options, sliders, or custom text answers. You can review your answers before submitting, skip individual questions, or click Skip all to let AI Studio choose sensible options based on the request. Guided questions only appear when they are useful: if you already provide clear style direction, AI Studio starts building directly.

Start with a template

Templates give you a faster starting point with a familiar structure. Click the Templates tab, then select the template you want. Templates cover common project types such as landing page, dashboard, ecommerce storefront, portfolio, and blog.

Edit and refine a project

AI Studio works best as a conversational builder, so keep prompting after generation instead of starting over. You can change colors or styling, rewrite headlines or body copy, add a contact form or booking section, or use a reference URL or screenshot for a specific section.

Visual Edits

Visual Edits lets you refine your project directly from the live preview, without prompts or code. Click Visual Edits in the prompt area at the bottom-left of the builder. The preview becomes interactive: double-click text to edit it inline, select elements to open contextual controls, or use a prompt on selected elements when you want AI help with a targeted change.

Code Editor

The built-in Code Editor gives you direct control over the underlying code for more precise customization. Use it to update layouts, modify styles, debug issues, and fine-tune advanced behaviors without regenerating the entire project. Changes are reflected in real time.

Advanced SEO support

AI Studio includes built-in SEO tools that make your content easier to index, without changing how your site looks or performs for visitors. With SEO enabled, your site is crawled and indexed more reliably by search engines, shared links display the correct title, description, and preview image, a sitemap helps search engines discover your pages faster, and AI search tools such as ChatGPT can read your content more easily.

Preview your project

Preview tools let you review layout, test multiple pages, and confirm the experience across device types before publishing. Inside the editor you can switch between Preview and Code view, view the project in desktop, tablet, and mobile modes, use the page dropdown to switch between pages in a multi-page project, and open the selected page in a new tab or refresh the preview after changes.

Version history

Each AI-generated change creates a version you can return to later. Click Version History from within your project to open earlier versions, preview one, bookmark a version, or revert to an earlier version. This is useful when you want to compare changes, undo a prompt result, or return to a version that better matched your goal.

Connect forms and calendars

AI Studio builds the front end for forms and booking sections, then guides you through the connection steps that make them functional in your account.

Forms

You can ask AI Studio to add a contact form, registration form, feedback form, or lead capture section to a page. The form appears on the page as a front-end layout first, before it is connected to your CRM. When you want the form to start collecting submissions, ask AI Studio to connect it or click Connect when prompted in the chat. This triggers the Connect to CRM flow, which creates contacts in your account, captures form submissions, and supports workflows through tracking triggers.

Calendars

Ask for an appointment page, consultation booking page, or discovery call page and AI Studio builds the page around scheduling and adds a booking section. To make the booking experience functional, AI Studio detects calendars that already exist in your account and prompts you to choose which one to connect: AI Studio creates the booking area on the page, you select a calendar, and that calendar is connected to the page.

Publish your project

Publishing makes your project available through a live URL so you can review it, share it, and launch it on your own domain. After a site is published you can keep editing; those changes remain in draft until you publish again. When an AI Studio project is connected to a domain, the project lives in AI Studio under Sites, the domain connection is visible in Domains, and the published page appears on that connected domain. You cannot connect a custom domain until the project has first been published to a preview domain.

Publish to a preview domain

1. Click Publish in the top right corner, update the URL if needed, then click Publish again.

2. Update the icon, name, description, and social image, then click Apply Changes.

3. Click Publish.

Connect a custom domain

1. Click Publish, then select Add Custom Domain.

2. Enter the domain you want to connect. For an apex domain such as example.com or the www version, an option appears to also add the other domain and set up a redirect. Leave it selected to connect both domains, or clear it to connect only the domain you typed. This option only appears for apex and www domains, not for other subdomains such as blog.example.com.

3. If the domain is already managed in your account, the setup continues within the flow. If conflicting records are found, review the warning and affected records before clicking Add Records.

4. If the domain is not managed in your account, add the DNS records shown, then click Verify DNS. If you chose to connect both apex and www, you will be prompted to add and verify two records in the same flow.

After setup is complete, the AI chat shows that the custom domain is connected, displays the connected domain, and includes a View site option.

Set a primary published URL

The primary published URL is the main live domain for your project. Other connected URLs automatically do a 301 redirect to the primary domain.

1. Click Publish, then click the three-dot menu next to the URL you want to make primary.

2. Click Set as primary.

If you connected both the apex and www domains during setup, the domain you typed is treated as the primary (canonical) URL and the other domain redirects to it. If your project already has a primary URL set, it remains unchanged.

Clone a project

Cloning reuses a successful project without rebuilding the same experience from scratch.

1. Click the three-dot menu on the project you want to clone and select Clone.

2. In the Clone project window, enter the new project name and choose the target folder, or leave it at the root level.

3. Turn Include project history on or off. With history includes chat activity and version history from the original project; without history creates a clean copy with no chats or version history.

4. Click Clone.

Where form submissions go

Once connected, form submissions go into your account's CRM, not into the AI Studio project itself. The page lives in AI Studio, while the responses, contacts, and submission activity go into your account. You can view submissions on contact records and under Sites > Forms > Submissions > External Forms. See Where form responses show up for the full picture.

Submissions can also drive automations. Connected AI Studio forms support the AI Studio Form Submitted workflow trigger, which starts a workflow when a connected form is submitted and supports filters for the AI Studio project, form, page path, and domain. Forms connected to CRM tracking can also be used in workflows through the External Tracking Event trigger with the Form submission event, filtered by Domain or External Form.

Usage limits

AI Studio usage is measured in 5-hour windows, and each plan has its own usage limit within that window. When a limit is reached, access resets at the end of the window. AI Studio displays usage notification banners automatically for users with access, so you can monitor consumption and spending as usage increases.

Limitations

• AI Studio projects are managed inside AI Studio and cannot be moved into the standard Sites or Funnels builders.

• URL and image-based recreation should be treated as inspiration for structure, layout, and style direction, not an exact one-to-one copy.

• Forms and calendars may require connection steps before they work with your data and scheduling setup.

Troubleshooting with AI Studio

When you ask AI Studio to fix a problem, it can investigate the running project before making changes. It can inspect the application's behavior, review relevant project information, and test functionality and external resources, then use those results to identify the cause of an issue. For example, AI Studio can identify when a preview is showing an outdated version, check whether an external resource is available, or investigate an application error before applying a fix. If the project environment becomes stale or unresponsive, AI Studio can attempt to recover it and continue working. After applying a fix, AI Studio can check the project again to verify the result before completing the request. You do not need to run these troubleshooting steps manually: ask AI Studio to build, change, or fix your project as usual.
