How Email AI countdown timers work

When you build a time-sensitive email in the Email Builder, Email AI can recognize that a live countdown timer would help and guide you through adding one during template creation or layout updates. It offers a timer in two situations: when it detects that the email is tied to a deadline, and when you explicitly request one.

When Email AI suggests a timer

Email AI detects time-sensitive emails such as flash sales, product launches, webinars, and expiring offers. A timer is offered only when the email is relevant to a deadline or you explicitly request one, so Email AI does not interrupt with irrelevant suggestions.

Choose or create a timer

When Email AI offers a timer, you can select an existing timer or create a new one. Creating a new timer collects its end date, style, and destination link. Email AI then embeds the selected timer into the generated email.

If you skip the timer prompt or it times out, the system falls back gracefully.
