Create QR codes in bulk from a CSV
Create QR codes for a whole list at once by uploading a CSV file where each row contains a name and a destination URL. Bulk creation suits high-volume projects such as event badges, discount coupons, product packaging, and campaigns.
Prepare your CSV
Each row in your CSV creates one QR code, so the file needs just two columns: a name and a destination URL. Select Download Sample CSV in the Create Bulk QR Codes pop-up to get a pre-formatted file, then replace the sample values with your own.
The header row must read exactly url, name (lowercase, in that order). Any other header produces an error message.
Name — the display name for the QR code.
URL — the full destination URL.
Do not add extra columns, leave blank rows, or leave blank header cells.
Validate your URLs
Every URL must start with http:// or https:// and contain no spaces. If a URL is invalid, the upload produces an error message that identifies the row causing the problem.
Assign a folder (optional)
Choose a destination folder to keep the batch grouped with related codes. The folder must already exist before you upload: only existing folders appear in the folder dropdown, and every code created in the batch inherits the folder you select. Leave the dropdown unset to save the codes in the root folder.
You can reorganize codes after creation. Open a code's 3-dot menu, select Move to Folder, and choose where the code should go.
Upload and generate
Open the bulk creation pop-up, then upload your file to generate the codes.
Select Sites in the left sidebar, then select QR Codes in the top navigation ribbon.
Select the Create Bulk QR Codes icon in the upper-right corner.
Drag and drop your CSV into the pop-up, or select Click to upload and browse for the file.
Choose a folder from the dropdown, or leave it unset to save to the root folder.
Select the blue Upload button. A real-time tracker shows each row as a success or an error as the batch processes.
When every row shows success, select Close.
Open the folder you selected to view the new codes, then select and download them as PNG, SVG, or PDF.
Fix errors and re-upload
Watch the progress tracker for flagged rows while the batch runs. Correct the errors in your CSV file, then upload the corrected file again.
Manage the codes you created
Download — the download icon on a code saves a high-resolution PNG.
Scan — scanning a code redirects the user to the destination URL or asset, and any attached workflow is triggered.
Analytics — the Analytics button on the QR Codes page shows how many times a code has been scanned.
Edit — the blue Edit button lets you update the destination URL.
