Email attachment size limits
JourneyCARE sends email through Mailgun with a maximum message size of 25MB. The recipient’s email provider may enforce a lower limit, and messages that exceed it bounce.
When a message bounces for size, the error appears in your Conversations tab. Common error messages include:
“Attachment size exceeds the allowable limit”
“552: Message size exceeds maximum permitted”
“System Undeliverable, message size exceeds outgoing message size limit”
“The size of the message you are trying to send exceeds the global size limit of the server. The message was not sent; reduce the message size and try again”
Provider and client size limits
Email providers and clients set their own maximum message or attachment sizes. These limits apply on top of JourneyCARE’s 25MB send limit.

Send larger files
You cannot bypass the maximum size limit. To share a larger file, upload it to the Media Library, then right-click the file to copy a link and share the link instead of attaching the file. To attach a supported file under the limit, see Add an attachment to an email campaign.
