Use community tagging

Tag members in community posts, comments, and replies by typing @, selecting a member, and publishing the content. You can tag multiple members in one post or comment; learn more about creating community posts and comments.

Tag members in a post

Use a post mention when you want to notify specific members about the post.

1. While drafting the post, type @ followed by the first characters of the member’s name.

2. Select the member from the suggestions by clicking the name or using the arrow keys. The selected name appears highlighted in the post.

3. Publish the post. Tagged members receive a notification and an email with a direct link to the post.

Tag members in a comment or reply

Use a comment or reply mention to bring specific members into an existing conversation.

1. In the comment or reply, type @ followed by part of the member’s name.

2. Select the member from the dropdown.

3. Publish the comment or reply. Tagged members receive a notification and an email with a direct link to the comment.
