Send voice notes in Community chats
Send a voice note from a one-to-one Community Chat by opening the member's chat, holding the microphone control while you speak, and selecting Send.
Send a voice note from Community Chat
Use this workflow when you want to send an audio message in a private conversation with another community member.
Open Portal and Groups, then select Communities and Groups.
Log in to the group where the member is located.
Open Members, then select the Chat button beside the member's name.
In the message input bar, click and hold the microphone icon to start recording.
Speak into your microphone while the live animated waveform shows that audio is being captured.
Select Send to send the voice note. It appears inline in the conversation.
Allow microphone access
Grant microphone permission before recording. When your browser displays a microphone-access prompt, choose Allow so you can record and send voice notes.
