Export companies (CSV download)

Exporting companies downloads your company records as a CSV file from Contacts > Companies. Choose between exporting selected companies from the table or exporting your full company list, then use the file to share company data, run reports, review records offline, keep backups, or analyze the data in spreadsheet tools like Excel or Google Sheets.

Export selected companies

Export specific companies when you only need a subset of your company records.

1. Go to Contacts > Companies.

2. Optionally use search or filters to narrow the list before selecting.

3. Select one or more companies using the table checkboxes.

4. Click Export in the action bar.

5. Watch the progress modal until the export completes. It shows the record count — how many records have been processed — and percent complete.

6. Download or open the CSV file when it becomes available.

Export all companies

Export every company record when you need the full company list in one file.

1. Go to Contacts > Companies.

2. Click the three-dot (upside-down ellipsis) menu in the top-right.

3. Select Export.

4. Watch the progress modal until the export completes. It shows the record count — how many records have been processed — and percent complete.

5. Download or open the generated CSV file.

What the CSV contains

The output is a comma-separated values (CSV) file with company record data delivered in columns. All visible company fields, including custom fields, are included in the export.

You can filter, sort, and review the data in spreadsheet tools like Excel or Google Sheets.

Export access

Exporting requires no setup, but team members need the right role permissions to see it.

If a team member cannot see Export, their role may lack export access for company data. An administrator should review role permissions and ensure the role has access to Companies and the related export/download permissions.
