Bulk delete for Companies

Bulk Delete removes multiple company records from the list view in one action, instead of opening each record to delete it one at a time. You can select records individually, select everything on the page, or work from filtered and search results — and accidental deletions can be restored from the Bulk Actions page within 60 days.

What a bulk delete removes

Deleting a company removes the company record, all of its field values, its associations to related contacts, opportunities, custom object records, notes, and tasks, and the association labels applied to those relationships. Existing cascade behavior for companies applies to directly owned data on the company record.

Delete companies in bulk

Open the Companies list. Go to Companies in the sub-account and stay in list view.
Select the companies. Tick the checkbox on the left of each row to select individual companies. Use the header checkbox to select all records on the page, or apply filters or a search first and select from the filtered results.
Click Delete. In the bulk-actions bar, click Delete.
Confirm the action. Confirm in the dialog that appears.
Track the job. Check the progress and logs on the Bulk Actions page.

Restore a bulk-deleted company

Bulk-deleted companies can be restored from the Bulk Actions page within 60 days of deletion. After 60 days, the companies are permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

Open Bulk Actions. Go to Bulk Actions in the sub-account.
Find the delete job. Locate the relevant job row in the table.
Open the job menu. Click the three-dot (upside-down ellipsis) menu on the right of the row.
Click Restore. Choose Restore from the menu.
Confirm the action. Confirm in the dialog. The restore runs as a new job and appears in the Bulk Actions table; when it completes, the companies return to the list view with their field values and associations.

Yes. Restoring a bulk-deleted company returns it to the list view with its field values and associations, and previous associations and association labels are restored.
