Optimize and watermark media in Lead Connector
Use Lead Connector's Social Planner to add a configured watermark and optimize uploaded images for the platforms you select before publishing a post.
Before you start
Use Lead Connector mobile app version 3.96.5 or higher. If you use a white-labeled app, request an update so these features become available.
Configure your watermark in the desktop Social Planner before you try to use it in Lead Connector. For the desktop watermark setup, see Add multiple watermarks in Social Planner.
Create a post with a watermark or optimized media
Enable either option while creating a post when you want to apply your configured branding, prepare images for selected platforms, or do both.
Open Social Planner. Launch Social Planner in Lead Connector.
Start the post. Tap Create Post, then upload the image or images you want to publish.
Open the post settings. Scroll to Advanced Settings.
Apply the watermark. Toggle Watermark on to apply your configured watermark to every image in the post. Leave it off when you do not want a watermark on that post.
Optimize the images. Toggle Optimize Media for Platforms on to resize and reformat the images for the publishing platforms you select.
Choose the destinations. Preview the post, then select the platforms where you want to publish it.
Publish the post. Tap Publish.
Understand watermark behavior
Watermarking is controlled per post in Lead Connector and applies to all images in that post when enabled.
You can turn Watermark on or off for each post.
The watermark must already be configured in the desktop Social Planner before mobile use.
Watermarking is not supported for Review Post or RSS Post. The source supports watermarking for all other post types.
Understand media optimization
Media Optimization automatically resizes and reformats uploaded images for the requirements of the platforms you select.
Optimization supports image files only.
The original file remains unchanged.
The source names Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn as examples of supported social channels.
