Create and manage invoices in LeadConnector App
Use Lead Connector to create one-time or recurring invoices, send them by email or SMS, and record payments from the invoice list. Subaccount admins and users can start from Invoices or convert a Point-of-Sale transaction into an invoice.
Open Invoices
Open Invoices from the Lead Connector mobile app to review earnings and manage invoices created on the web or mobile app.
Open Lead Connector and tap the hamburger menu in the top-left corner.
Tap Invoices.
The dashboard shows collected earnings and outstanding earnings. The invoice list includes invoices created on the web or mobile app, including invoices in draft, due, and paid states.
Choose an invoice action
Use the invoice card gesture that matches the action you need: tap for the primary action, long press for all available actions, or swipe left for significant actions and More.
Tap: Open the primary action for the invoice. For a draft invoice, this can be editing the invoice.
Long press: View all actions available for the invoice.
Swipe left: Reveal significant actions and More. For a due invoice, the available actions include editing, recording payment, and viewing more actions.
Create an invoice
Create a one-time or recurring invoice from the Invoices section when you need to send a new invoice to a contact.
From Invoices, tap the floating + button in the bottom-right corner.
Choose one-time or recurring.
Enter the recipient, start date, and due date. For a recurring invoice, choose the payment frequency.
Add items from the product catalog or add a custom item using the keypad. Select a variant when applicable, set the quantity, and select the applicable taxes.
Review the invoice terms and notes, including any terms about a late fee when an invoice is not paid on time.
Review the invoice on one page. Adjust item quantities or the recipient, add a discount, and tap Preview to view the web preview.
Tap Send and choose email, SMS, or both. Choose both only when the contact has an email address and a phone number.
Use quantities, taxes, templates, and Point-of-Sale
Use the available invoice options during item selection or choose a faster starting point when the invoice already exists in a template or Point-of-Sale transaction.
Enter partial quantities with up to two decimal places.
Link taxes to products in Mobile Products or in web Payment settings > Taxes. The applicable linked taxes are available when you select a variant and quantity while creating an invoice.
Open the templates tab and use a template to create an invoice.
In Point-of-Sale, start a transaction by adding items, quantities, applicable taxes, a contact, and a discount. On the payment instruments screen, tap Convert to Invoice, then choose the due date, review the terms, and review the invoice before sending it.
Record a payment
Record a payment from the invoice list when you need to enter a payment for an invoice.
Open the relevant invoice in the invoice list.
Swipe the invoice card left and tap Record Payment.
Choose tap to pay, cash, cards on file, or manual entry to record the payment.
