Restore a previous workflow version
To restore a previous version of a workflow, open Version History, select Restore beside the version you want, and the workflow reopens as a draft.
Restore a workflow version
Restore is available only when the workflow is in Draft and no contacts are currently enrolled in it.
Open the workflow you want to restore.
Open Version History.
Select Restore beside the version you want.
The workflow reopens as a new Draft. The published workflow stays unchanged until you publish the restored draft.
What Version History records
Each version entry records the workflow name, version number (for example v12, v13, v14), timestamp, editor, and status (Draft or Published).
The Version History sidebar can be filtered by editor.
Version History keeps up to 10 versions or 30 days, whichever comes first.
How versions are created
Version entries are created when you click Save, confirm the Unsaved Changes pop-up, use Save Version, or change the workflow status between Draft and Published.
Routine auto-save does not create a version entry by itself. Use Save Version to snapshot the current auto-saved state in Version History.
After you restore
Restoring creates a new version, and earlier versions remain available in Version History. Undo and Redo reset after a restore.
Branch a version into a new workflow
Create new workflow from version branches a prior version into a separate workflow. Use it to start a new workflow from an earlier version instead of changing the current one.
Restoring a deleted workflow is different
Restoring a deleted workflow is a separate feature that uses the Deleted tab; see Restore a deleted workflow.
