Show events and blog posts on your website
Event calendars and blog posts on your website are widgets. They display content you manage elsewhere—events in the Event Calendar application, and posts in the Blog section.
How the event calendar works on a page
The calendar on a page is a widget that displays events from your shared event database based on its configuration, including optional category filters.
You do not create or edit events inside the widget. Manage events separately in the Event Calendar application (Tockify). For steps, see Add an event to the calendar.
Show only certain events
Event widgets can be filtered by category or tag so each page shows a different view of the same event database.
For example:
Workshops
Conferences
Webinars
Use a filter when a page should highlight one type of event without maintaining a separate calendar.
How the blog widget works
The Blog widget displays posts automatically. You do not edit individual posts inside the widget.
To add or change posts:
Open the Blog section.
Create or edit posts there.
The widget controls how many posts appear and how they are displayed on the page.
