Add widgets and edit page layout
Add widgets from Elements, then adjust rows, spacing, and device previews in the website editor so your page layout works on desktop, tablet, and mobile. For event calendars and blog listings, see Show events and blog posts on your website.
Add a widget
Open Elements, search for the widget, and drag it onto the page where you want it.
Open Elements.
Search for the widget.
Click and drag it onto the page.
Do not only click the widget. Clicking places it at the top of the page instead of where you intended—drag it to the spot you want.
Edit a Hero Slider
A Hero Slider is the large rotating banner often displayed at the top of the homepage.
You can edit:
Images
Headlines
Descriptions
Buttons
Slide order
You can also add or remove slides.
Move a row
Select the row, then use the Up and Down arrows to reposition it on the page.
Select the row.
Use the Up and Down arrows to move it.
Rows can also be copied and pasted elsewhere.
Copy rows and columns
Rows and columns can both be duplicated when you need similar layouts.
Right-click the row or column.
Choose Copy.
Choose Paste on the same page or another page.
Padding vs. margin
Padding is space inside an element. Margin is space outside an element.
Avoid extremely large spacing values. Layouts that look good on desktop can break on mobile devices.
Preview desktop, tablet, and mobile
Use the device icons at the top of the editor to preview Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile.
Always review new pages on mobile before publishing.
