Understand the Premium Site Editor

The website editor has four working areas: a top navigation bar, a side panel, a page canvas, and a design panel.

Use the top navigation bar

The top navigation bar helps you move between pages, change the device view, undo or redo edits, preview changes, and publish the site.

  • Use the hamburger menu to open editor navigation.

  • Use page navigation to switch between website pages.

  • Use the device icons to preview Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile views.

  • Use Undo and Redo to move backward or forward through edits.

  • Use Preview Changes to review the page before publishing.

  • Use Publish or Republish when your changes are ready for the live site. Publish and republish have different scopes.

Choose a tool from the side panel

The side panel opens the tools for adding content, managing pages, styling the site, and working with site content.

  • Add provides widgets and other page content.

  • Pages provides page and navigation controls.

  • Layers helps you select and manage elements on the page.

  • Theme provides site-wide visual settings.

  • CMS provides managed site content and media.

  • SEO/AEO provides search-related settings.

  • More provides additional editor tools.

Edit content on the page canvas

The canvas is where you add, move, and edit page content such as widgets, images, text, buttons, and other elements.

For text, buttons, and links, use Edit text, buttons, and links. For widgets, rows, columns, and Hero Sliders, use Add widgets and edit page layout.

Adjust design settings

The design panel controls layout, sizing, alignment, spacing, animation, and backgrounds for the selected page element.

Use the design panel when a content change is correct but the element needs different placement, dimensions, spacing, or visual treatment. Review the result in Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile views before publishing.
