Edit your website for different devices
Use the device views in the website editor to check Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile layouts, then make shared content changes or device-specific layout adjustments as needed.
Open the device view you want to check
Switch device views from the icons in the editor's top navigation bar when you want to inspect how the page is arranged for Desktop, Tablet, or Mobile.
Open the website page you want to review.
Select Desktop, Tablet, or Mobile from the device icons.
Review the page layout in that device view.
Make a change that applies across devices
Changes to page content apply across device views, including adding a widget, editing text, or adding or deleting a section.
Select the page element you want to change.
Edit the content or add the new page element.
Switch to the other device views and review the result.
For widget placement, rows, columns, and spacing, see Add widgets and edit page layout.
Adjust layout for one device
Position and size changes can be specific to the device view you are editing, so use those controls when the same content needs a different layout on another screen size.
Switch to the device view that needs the adjustment.
Select the element and change its position or size in the design controls.
Check the other device views to confirm that the layout still works.
Hide content instead of deleting it
Use the editor's device-specific hide control when content should remain available on other devices. Deleting an element from one device view deletes it from the site rather than only that device.
Switch to the device view where the content should not appear.
Select the element you want to hide.
Use the device-specific hide control.
Review before publishing
Check the page in each relevant device view and on a real mobile device before publishing changes.
Preview Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile views from the editor.
Open the page on a real mobile device and review the result.
When the page is ready, publish the page or republish the site.
