Understand the Media Library
The Media Library is JourneyCARE's standard media center: the shared home for the images, videos, audio, documents, fonts, and contact files (vCard) you use across the platform. In different parts of the product and our documentation this area is called Media Library, Media Storage, or Media Center — all three names refer to the same standard media area, so a file you upload once is available wherever a media picker appears.
What the Media Library holds
Your uploaded assets live in My Media. The library accepts images, videos, audio, documents, fonts, and contact files (vCard).
Connected sources appear alongside your uploaded files. Connect Canva to Media Storage adds a dedicated Canva view, and Connect Google Drive to Media Storage brings your Drive files and folders into the same library.
Where to find the Media Library
You reach the same media area from several places in the product.
Media Storage — the main account area for the media center.
Upload from Media Storage — the option inside modules such as Social Planner.
The Media Library picker in the Email Builder — its sources include Upload, Image URL, and filters for All, My Media, Backgrounds, Unsplash, and Pixabay, plus a Canva tab.
The same media infrastructure also powers Social Planner, Funnels, Email Builder, and Communities, so the files you organize here are the files those features offer.
Reuse the same media across features
Because the Media Library is shared, the same asset is available in Emails, the member Portal, and other features without uploading it a second time.
Image files in email campaigns are capped at 10 MB. See Add an image to an email campaign for the sources and limits that apply there.
The Premium Website Editor has its own Media Library
The Premium Website Editor is the one exception to the shared library. It has its own separate Media Library, reached through CMS > Media Manager, that stores the images used on Premium Websites.
Those images are not automatically available in the standard media center. To use a Premium Website image in Emails, the Portal, or another feature, add it to the standard media center (Media Storage / Media Library) as well.
For managing media inside the Premium Website Editor, see Add and manage images, video, and media.
