Add the Chat Widget to a JourneyCARE website
Add the JourneyCARE Chat Widget to a JourneyCARE premium website by pasting its embed code into the site's Head HTML so it loads on every page, or by dropping an HTML element onto a single page. You need a configured chat widget with its embed code, plus access to the JourneyCARE website editor. If you have not created a widget yet, follow Getting started with the Chat Widget first.
Get the embed code
Copy the embed code from your Chat Widget settings before you open JourneyCARE. You will paste the same code with either method.
In JourneyCARE, open Sites and click Chat Widget.
Click Get Code.
Copy the embed code.
Add the code to your JourneyCARE website
Choose the method by where the widget should appear: Head HTML loads it on every page of the site, while the HTML element method adds it to one page only.
Method 1: Add the code to the site's Head HTML
Log in to the JourneyCARE dashboard and open the Premium Website Editor.
Navigate to the site and click Edit Site.
Click Settings in the left column.
Click Head HTML.
Paste the chat widget embed code.
Click Save.
Preview the site to confirm the widget appears where you expect it and works.
Method 2: Add the code to a single page
In the JourneyCARE editor, open the page where you want the widget.
Drag an HTML element onto the page.
Double-click the element to open the HTML editor.
Paste the embed code.
Click Save.
