Apple Pay and Google Pay are available for one-time invoices, recurring invoices, and Text2Pay links when you connect Stripe through Stripe Connect and enable both wallets in your Stripe account.
What Apple Pay and Google Pay work with
Apple Pay and Google Pay are payment options on one-time invoices, recurring invoices, and Text2Pay links. Create and send an invoice the usual way — the wallet methods appear in the payment options automatically once they're enabled.
Whether a customer sees a wallet button depends on their geographic location, the browser they pay from, and whether they have a payment method saved in Apple Pay or Google Pay.
The wallets appear for customers paying from Chrome Desktop, Chrome Android, macOS Safari, iOS Safari, or Microsoft Edge for Windows.

Turn on Apple Pay and Google Pay
Connect Stripe through Stripe Connect, then enable both wallets in your Stripe account.
Open Payments > Integrations and connect Stripe using Stripe Connect. Stripe API connections must use Stripe Connect for Apple Pay and Google Pay to work.
In your Stripe account, enable Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Open an invoice or Text2Pay link — both methods appear as payment options.
After Stripe is connected, the platform automatically registers the payment domain, which enables Apple Pay in invoice and Text2Pay payments.
PayPal, Authorize.net, and NMI cannot provide Apple Pay or Google Pay through this feature — Stripe Connect is required.
Reporting and pricing
Stripe treats Apple Pay and Google Pay as card payments.
Wallet transactions appear on the Invoices and Transactions pages, and processing pricing is the same as credit-card processing.
Troubleshoot Apple Pay
Work through these checks when Apple Pay doesn't appear for a customer.
Confirm each of these:
The Apple Pay and Google Pay toggle is enabled in your Stripe account while Stripe is connected.
Apple Pay is available in the customer's country.
The invoice domain is registered with Stripe. In the Stripe Dashboard, open Settings > Payments > Apple Pay and inspect Web Domains. If the domain is missing, use Add New Domain; if automatic registration failed, contact support.
The Apple Pay domain-association file is hosted at the domain's /.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association path.
The customer is using a compatible Safari device or browser and a bank or card that participates in Apple Pay.
Troubleshoot Google Pay
Work through these checks when Google Pay doesn't appear for a customer.
Confirm each of these:
Stripe is connected on the Integrations page.
Google Pay is available in the customer's country.
The customer is paying from Google Chrome or Safari.
The customer has a valid card registered with Google Pay.
