PDF generation for invoices and receipts
Invoice and receipt PDFs now generate through an updated pipeline that is approximately 80% faster, and the change applies automatically with no configuration required.
What the update covers
The updated pipeline handles invoice downloads from the interface and receipt or invoice PDF delivery through automated workflows. It applies specifically to invoice and receipt PDFs; other document types are not affected.
No setup required
You don't need to configure or activate anything — the rollout applies automatically to invoice and receipt PDF workflows, so existing workflows benefit immediately. To see the change for yourself, manually download an invoice (see Create and send an invoice) or trigger a receipt email and download the receipt in the mobile app (see View invoices and download receipts in the mobile app).
Performance improvements
Generation time and latency dropped sharply, and timeout-related failures were eliminated.

Timeout-related failures were eliminated after the rollout. If a new failure appears when you generate an invoice or receipt PDF, report it so we can investigate.
