Event management, registration and portal
Event dashboard and metrics
The ticketed and RSVP event flow, currently in beta, lives under Portal & Groups > Events and supports tickets, prices, coupons, registration deadlines, capacities, sale periods, and custom checkout fields. On an event's Registrations tab, staff can view registrants, total tickets issued, revenue, and refunded registrations, search by name or email, and filter by status or date range. A legacy form-based registration flow also exists, and its registration answers live in Form Submissions.
Registrant details, including custom fields collected at checkout, export to CSV from the event's Registrations area. Orders and transactions export as CSV under Payments, which is where the financial record of registrations lives. See Download event registration details for the full export steps.
A real-time dashboard exists for each event, including attendance and revenue metrics. Sponsorship revenue is not currently included in the default event dashboard, but could be added as a custom dashboard.
Member portal versus public website
Private group events can be published inside a community for visibility limited to everyone or to selected courses, groups, or private channels. Members register from inside the group on web or mobile, receive in-app notifications and email reminders, and can add the event to a personal calendar. Recurring events are supported in the community event flow.
Public event information is placed on the public website and registrations can occur either through the beta event flow, which gives every published event a public registration page, or through a legacy registration form embedded on a site page.
Attendee and staff registration workflows
Registration supports both ticket types and RSVP. Ticketed events can mix free and paid ticket types with multiple pricing tiers, so a complimentary registration can be handled through a free or zero-cost option. Discount codes are configured under Tickets > Coupon Codes as percentage discounts with an active period and optional usage limits.
Member and non-member pricing is implemented in one of three ways: discount codes communicated to members, separate public and member-only versions of the event with the member version placed in the portal so login is required, or separate registration forms in the legacy flow when the member price must stay private. See Create and manage ticketed and RSVP events and Set up member and non-member event pricing for the setup steps.
A single registration can include multiple attendees, and every attendee in that registration receives a confirmation email.
Registration management and reporting
Staff manage registrations from the event's Registrations tab. They can manually add attendees with the Add Attendee button, update attendee details when a ticket transfers to someone else, and issue full or partial refunds from the three-dot menu next to a registrant. Canceling or unpublishing an event does not automatically refund attendees; refunds are processed manually from this tab.
Registrant details, orders, and transactions all export to CSV, and custom checkout fields collect additional attendee information, such as company or badge name, during registration. See Collect additional information during event registration for how those fields work in both the beta and legacy flows.
