Gift card performance metrics
The Gift Card Dashboard in Payments > Gift Cards gives you a consolidated view of your gift card program's performance over time: issuance counts, revenue impact, buyer trends, and denomination preferences, with drill-down into specific gift card orders. Use it for fast performance insights at a glance — identify your best-converting denominations, spot seasonal peaks or campaign-driven spikes, and jump from a KPI straight to a card's order details to confirm its code, balance, delivery, and status.
Filters and date ranges
Filters sit in the top left of the Gift Cards landing page, and the default date range is This Month.
Preset ranges: Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, This Month, Last Month.
Custom ranges: pick any start and end date.
The filter section stays the same whether you are viewing the Gift Card Products page or the All Orders page.
Metrics
Metric | What it shows |

Total Gift Cards Issued | The number of cards created in the selected period, combining cards sold through any checkout and cards sent directly through the Send flow. |
Total Value of Gift Cards Issued | The total monetary value of all issued cards, shown with a trend chart over time. |
Average Order Value (AOV) | The average value of gift card orders; shows whether buyers gravitate toward smaller or larger denominations. |
Number of Unique Customers | The unique individuals who purchased or received a gift card in the period; measures reach, repeat engagement, and acquisition via gifting. |
Top Denominations & Popularity Chart | The most frequently issued denomination, plus a Top 5 denominations chart. |
Gift Card Orders page
The Gift Card Orders page lists every sold or sent gift card with its status, balance, and customer details. Every card is clickable and opens the order details page, which acts as the single source of truth for all gift cards in your account. Filters slice the metrics by contact, status, or denomination.
Gift Card Orders (inside Payments > Gift Cards) track every card issued or purchased. The generic Orders page only records paid transactions.
FAQ
Do scheduled gift cards count toward issuance totals? Yes — scheduled gift cards are included in the issuance totals for the selected date range. Use the Status filter to analyze Scheduled or Active cards specifically.
Do Test mode cards affect the dashboard? No — gift cards created in Test mode have no effect on the Gift Card Dashboard analytics.
