Collect and manage video testimonials

Video Testimonials lets you collect video reviews from members and customers with shareable, branded collectors, then review the submissions and showcase selected ones on your website with the Review Widget. Respondents record or upload their video from desktop or mobile without installing an app. The workflow is: create a collector, share it or send a review request, review and download responses, and display videos on your site.

Create a Video Collector

Collectors are the branded pages your contacts open to record their video review. Go to Reputation → Video Testimonials, click Create a Collector, and work through the five setup pages.

  1. Welcome Page — Add a Public Collector Title. Optionally enable Spokesperson Image to put a friendly face from your company on the collector, then add the spokesperson details, a short How it Works section, and a Welcome Message from the spokesperson.

  2. Questionnaire Page — Add up to 3 questions and order them for a guided flow.

  3. Attribution Page — After the questions, respondents identify themselves, or confirm their details when a personalized link has preloaded them. Add a Headline and a Message.

  4. Thank You Page — Add a Headline, a Message, and the Spokesperson's Email.

  5. Logo & Colors — Enable and add your logo, choose whether to show a white background behind it, and set the background, text, secondary text, accent, and button colors. Click Save, then Preview to see exactly what your contact sees when they open the collector.

Clone an existing collector instead of re-entering your branding and questions. You can create unlimited collectors per location.

Share the link yourself when you want to distribute it on your own channels. In Video Testimonials → Collectors, locate the collector, click Copy Link, and share it by email, chat, social, or QR code.

Generate a QR code for the link with the QR Codes feature.

Send a video review request

Send a request to a specific contact through Email, SMS, or WhatsApp. In Video Testimonials, click Send Review Request (or the share icon) on the collector, then:

  1. Select the contact.

  2. Choose Email, SMS, or WhatsApp.

  3. Use Override Video Link to choose which collector the request includes.

  4. Select the default Email, SMS, or WhatsApp template, or a pre-made custom template.

  5. Click Send Review Request.

Review and download responses

Submitted videos are stored in Reputation → Video Testimonials → Responses. Click any submission to view the video, then click Download to save the original file locally.

Show videos on your website

Display your collected videos on your site with the Review Widget. Go to Reputation → Widgets, create or edit a Review Widget, and set Review Type to Video Testimonials. Choose the collector in Video Testimonial Source, then set the widget type, number of reviews, override video link, and whether to show the powered by credit. Click Save.

Do respondents need to install an app to record a video?

No. They record or upload directly from desktop or mobile using the collector link.

What's the maximum video length?

Up to 2 minutes 30 seconds per submission.

How many questions can I add to a collector?

Up to 3 questions, added in the Questionnaire step.

Where do I find submitted videos?

Go to Reputation → Video Testimonials → Responses to view and download them.

Can I show only certain videos on my site?

Yes. Use the per-collector filter in the Review Widget to display videos from a specific collector.
