Manage payment methods displayed with Stripe
You control which payment methods your customers see by turning methods on or off in your Stripe dashboard, under Settings > Connect > Payment Methods > Your account. Payment methods display dynamically across JourneyCARE's payment channels — order forms, invoices, payment links, online stores, memberships, and communities — when Stripe is connected as your default payment provider, and this only applies to organizations using Stripe as the payment provider.

Turn payment methods on or off
Toggle payment methods from the Stripe dashboard rather than from inside JourneyCARE.
Log in to your Stripe account.
Open Settings > Connect > Payment Methods > Your account to see the list of payment methods activated for JourneyCARE.
In the dropdown, select the JourneyCARE configuration.
Select the payment method you want to change and turn it on or off.
A Stripe account may be connected to other platforms, so always select the JourneyCARE configuration before changing methods. Some payment methods show as blocked because they are not yet enabled for all connected accounts.
Configurations and their default methods
JourneyCARE uses four Stripe configurations, one for each kind of payment channel, and each has its own set of methods turned on by default.
Invoice — one-time invoices, recurring invoices with auto-payments turned off, and Text2Pay links. Defaults on: Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH Direct Debit, Affirm, Klarna, AfterPay, Link, Amazon Pay, Revolut Pay.
InvoiceWithAutopayment — recurring invoices with auto-payments enabled. Defaults on: Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH Direct Debit.
Store — online stores on websites. Defaults on: Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Affirm, Klarna, AfterPay, Link, Amazon Pay, Revolut Pay.
Default — everywhere else: 1-step and 2-step order forms, payment links, memberships, and communities. Defaults on: Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, Amazon Pay, Revolut Pay.
To enable ACH Direct Debit on invoices, including recurring invoices with auto-payments, see Accept ACH debit payments on invoices.
Enable payment methods for subscriptions
For recurring payments and subscriptions, a payment method must be enabled in Stripe Settings > Payment Methods > Billing Payment Methods as well as in the configuration. Open that section in Stripe and enable the method there so customers see it on subscriptions.
How these payments appear in JourneyCARE
All order and transaction details for these payment methods register under the Payments menu the same way credit card payments do. The existing Order Submitted and Payment Received workflow triggers also work for them.
