Use custom fields as metrics in dashboards and reports

Numeric and monetary custom fields on Contacts and Opportunities can now be used as metrics in Dashboard widgets, Custom Reports, and the Custom Metric module. Select the field in the Field dropdown and choose an aggregation — Sum, Min, Max, or Average — and the widget or report shows the aggregated value live.

Newly created numeric or monetary custom fields appear in the metric picker automatically, so no setup is required. See Use custom fields as metrics in dashboards and reports.
