Chat Widget Spam Protection

The Chat Widget now includes built-in spam protection against bot and high-volume suspicious submissions that can drive up messaging costs and hurt sender reputation. Protection runs in the background with no CAPTCHA or extra steps for genuine visitors. Suspicious submissions are not deleted: the contact is created normally, tagged for review, and SMS, email, or both can be paused on your selected channels until your team checks the lead. You configure protection independently for each widget, choosing Tag Only, Pause SMS, Pause Email, or Pause Both. Existing widgets have Spam Protection off by default; new widgets have it on with Pause Both selected.
