Automate Community group join requests

Automate how your organization handles requests to join a Community group. The new Requested to Join Group workflow trigger starts a workflow when a member submits a join request, and Membership Question Responses filters let you act on the answers to their membership questions. Use If/Else branches, GPT evaluation, and actions such as Grant Group Access to approve qualifying requests, route suspicious ones for manual review, or reject spam automatically. The member-facing join-request experience is unchanged.

Note that in most cases, group members are receiving access via an automation, but in those situations where a non-member arrives at a group and requests access, this new functionality allows you to take automated action. One option could be to route the contact into a messaging sequence that walks them through how to become a member.
